LOOK: Nikki Gil posts photo of rumored beau for the 1st time

MANILA, Philippines - It looks like Nikki Gil is slowly opening up on her blossoming love life.

 

On Sunday, the ABS-CBN artist posted a photo of herself with her rumored boyfriend, who was identified by the entertainment press as BJ Albert.

 

 

Although Nikki has been mum about the identify of her new beau, the actress told members of the press in previous interviews that she met BJ through common friends as they both studied at the Ateneo de Manila University.

 

The two have been dating since early 2014, as Nikki revealed in a TV interview on February last year.

 

Of course, fans of the singer-actress are ecstatic over the said Instagram post.

 

“You deserve true happiness,” commented one Instagram user on Nikki’s photo.

 

“Sobrang angat sya sa lahat ng aspeto sa ex mo,” said another Instagram user. “May purpose tlg si God kung bkit inaalis nya sa buhay natin ang ibang tao! Stay in love and wishing for forever!”

 

Nikki broke up with Billy Crawford in 2013. But despite the bad break up, Nikki said she never became jaded about love.

 

“It just so happens na hindi lang sinuwerte, but I don't want to be jaded. I don't want to be cynical about it because love is a beautiful thing. Falling in love is such a beautiful thing. Just because napaso ka ng isang beses doesn't mean you have to put up those walls,” she said in an interview with Philstar.com and other members of the press May of last year.
