Venus to play deaf beauty queen in MMK

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) will share tonight the inspiring life story of deaf beauty queen Christine Balaguer, who became one of the Top 13 candidates in this year’s Miss World Philippines pageant. Christine will be portrayed by 2010 Miss Universe fourth runner-up Venus Raj. 

Also starring in the episode are Carmi Martin, Matt Evans, Anna Luna, Brenna Garcia, Dexie Daulat, Marnie Lapus, EJ Jallorina and Lui Manansala. The episode is directed by Nuel Naval and written by Ruel Montañez.
