IN PHOTOS: TV5's first quarter entertainment shows

MANILA, Philippines- Quality over quantity. This is TV5's goal for their first quarter entertainment shows offering.

Entertainment content head Wilma Galvante said in Tuesday that ratings may be a big deal, yet for the network they feel that is not what's important.

"What's important is the substance we put into the show, the content, the kind of programing that we deliver to the viewers,” she said.

She added that they would like to offer shows that will be enjoyed mostly by the whole family.

“Ang hangarin lang ng TV5 ay magbigay ng saya, magbigay ng magandang family viewing,” she said. “As a network, we know TV5 is positioned to be a happy mix of sports and light entertainment and of course a straightforward delivery of news.”

For the first quarter of 2015, they will offer two sitcoms, two magazine shows, two public service shows, two talent search shows and a new line up for their “Wattpad Presents” episodes.
