Samsung introduces the Galaxy A-Series at the hippest New Year’s Eve party

MANILA, Philippines - Samsung rang in the New Year by introducing its cutting-edge Galaxy A- Series at the hippest party. The A-Series is Samsung’s first full metal body smartphone with a slim and stylish design. It also comes with smarter selfie functions with its face and palm detection and a 5MP front camera that can be viewed in its vivid Super Amoled Display. Valkyrie, the newest and hippest partyplace in town, was the perfect venue for the New Year launch of the Galaxy A-Series, which masterfully uses technology to let its users celebrate life.

Ablaze with lights and music to match the energy of the crowd that gathered to count the dying minutes of 2014 together, Valkyrie was decked with the colors of Samsung, which chose the momentous evening to showcase its Galaxy A- Series range. Samsung users also had that VIP feel as they accessed #TheALife entering through Valkyrie’s VIP lanes.

Champagne and sparkling wine flowed to celebrate the joys of the year that was, which the guests enjoyed while they tried out the Galaxy A-Series phone that Samsung made available for the New Year revelers. Many of the guests were amazed at how the A-Series phone beautifully captured images of the evening, vividly storing the dazzling moments for posterity. They also marveled at how quickly and easily they got to share these photos, as their followers on IG and Twitter greeted them a Happy New Year by retweeting and liking their posts. Access #theAlife, the hashtag for the event, was repeatedly tweeted and retweeted by the guests who loved how technology completed the celebration.

Hosted by Tim Yap, the party drew in some of the biggest celebrities in the country such as James Reid, Victor Basa, Divine Lee, Bianca Manalo, Anton Del Rosario, Sam Richelle, Iza Calzado,Vice Ganda, Nathalie Hart, Alice Dixson, Jeron Teng, Antoinette Taus, Karylle, Yael Yuzon, Danes Lee and Ehra Madrigal.

The Samsung Galaxy A-Series will be available in three variants (A3, A5 and A7) starting this month. Promotion period on Jan. 24 to 25 includingP1,000 off, a free Valkyrie VIP card, free Content and Services vouchers and zero-percent installment for 18 months.
