Sarah on boyfriend Matteo: He's doing something right

MANILA, Philippines - Sarah Geronimo has a different "glow" recently, and she won't deny that boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli is one of the reasons.

"He must be doing something right," she said in an interview on Friday. "Hindi naman po made-deny na maganda rin ang naibibigay na epekto sa iyo kapag maayos na tao rin 'yong nakikitungo sa iyo, 'yong maayos ang pakikitungo sa iyo. 'Yong hindi ka tinatrato na parang basura o mababa.

"So mare-reflect 'yon sa iyo, sa pagkatao mo. Hindi man siya perpekto, pero he's doing something right."

Sarah said that even with her busy schedule, she makes it a point to spend quality time with her family and Matteo.

"Hindi na po ako natutulog!" she joked when asked how she balances her career and personal life.

Sarah's plate has been full recently because of several projects, among these is the Disney calendar and her own rendition of "The Glow," the theme song for the Disney film "Tangled."

Sarah said that she is finding it hard to juggle her relationship with his family, her fans and Matteo.

"Pero believe, ano, maniwala tayo sa sarili natin. It's part of growing up, of being a woman," she said.

Since she entered into a relationship with Matteo, Sarah said she has learned that one of the things that will make a relationship last is for both partners to work hard together.

"Kailangan lang ng hard work, effort from both ends, di ba?" she explained. "Nagiging considerate rin, kasi napansin ko rin na iniisip niya 'yong mama niya, 'yong mga sinasabi ng mga tao sa paligid niya. So kailangan hanapin mo 'yong balance."

Meanwhile, Sarah confirmed that there have been changes in her movie project with Star Cinema and Viva Films.

The most previous hints on the movie was the Piolo Pascual would be in the movie.

"Mayro'n change of plans sa casting at sa konsepto. Kasi we want to have something new, para sa mga kababaihan naman," Sarah said without elaborating.
