Belo shares secrets to a young, fresh face

MANILA, Philippines - This holiday season, there’s pressure to look one’s best, with all the parties, reunions and events happening almost every day. It’s always fun to get together, catch up and celebrate — the only part that is not fun is being told that you look tired or that you’ve aged much since last time.

Dr. Belo, to be joined by Dr. Vic Lopez of the Belo Medical Group, will demonstrate Blepharoplasty, Belo’s solution to the problem of droopy eyes or hideous eye bags. The bloodless surgery uses a state-of-the-art carbon dioxide laser to remove excess skin and fat that cause those bags under the eyes makes the eyelids droop — all giving the appearance of being tired — with minimal bruising and swelling.

But of course, it’s not enough to just address eye issues — there is the rest of the face to take care of. This is where Belo’s two Botox treatments come in.

Botox Masseter is a treatment that keeps skin unwrinkled for a longer period of time. It targets certain facial muscles to prevent them from contracting — this ensures that folds do not appear on the face where you don’t want them, while at the same time allowing for normal facial expression.

Meso-Botox, on the other hand, is a treatment that may also be applied to other areas of the body where skin and muscles are thinner. Meso-Botox helps skin become tighter and smoother: It reduces fat secretion and shrinks pores, making the skin look visibly healthier and fresher and causing an “eye-opening” and overall lifting effect.
