Philippines' bet wins 2nd runner-up in Miss Intercontinental 2014

MANILA, Philippines- Philippines' bet in the Miss Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson made it to the top three of the beauty pageant held early Friday (Philippine time) at the Maritim Hotel Madgeburg in Germany.

Kris is the first Filipina to represent the country in the beauty pageant.

Crowned Miss Intercontinental 2014 is Misss Phataraporn Wang of Thailand; 1st runner-up is Miss Jeslie Mergal of Cuba and Kris was 2nd runner-up.

Kris was also able to bag the Miss Photogenic special award.

The other winners of the special awards: Best in Swimsuit is Miss South Africa, Best in Evening Gown is Miss Puerto Rico, Best in National Costume is Miss Panama, Miss Fashion and Style is Miss Turkey, and Miss Congeniality is Miss Canada.
