Janice is the Phl bet in Mrs. Globe World finals

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines will now be represented by Mrs. Philippines-Globe Woman of Substance 2014 Janice Trillo (photo) at the Mrs. Globe 2015 World Finals at Shenzhen, China, on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Trillo will replace this year’s winner, Cebuana pediatrician Stephanie Sitoy, after organizers of Mrs. Philippines-Globe announced that they are dethroning her following contract violations.

According to the organizers of Mrs. Philippines-Globe, “It is with sadness that we announce the dethronement of Dr. Stephanie Sitoy but the Mrs. Philippines-Globe organization is a global organization with strict guidelines and policies that must be adhered to by every Mrs. Philippines-Globe title holder.” 

The dethronement was announced as a result of endorsement deals that Dr. Sitoy entered into without clearance from the award-giving body.
