Jeepney TV holds Ryan Ryan Musikahan concert

MANILA, Philippines - In celebration of its second anniversary, Jeepney TV will hold a concert as a tribute to the ‘80s musical program, Ryan Ryan Musikahan at Rockwell Tent in Makati.

Ryan Ryan Musikahan was a popular show of the award-winning composer Ryan Cayabyab which showcased a variety of musical genres to the Filipino household. The show premiered in 1988.

With the show’s re-airing on Jeepney TV in 2012, Ryan Ryan Musikahan has appealed to a new generation of viewers.

To give emphasis to the show’s unique legacy in Philippine entertainment, Jeepney TV revives Ryan Ryan Musikahan with a Christmas special titled, Ryan Ryan Musikahan: Home for Christmas.

Among the artists who will perform in the concert are Aiza Seguerra, Bamboo, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo and Gary Valenciano. Musical director Gerard Salonga will participate in the concert with members of Orchestra of the Filipino Youth.

Ryan Ryan Musikahan: Home for Christmas will air on Dec. 14, 8 p.m. on Jeepney TV.
