KMJS turns 10

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Tonight at 7:30, GMA 7’s Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) marks its 10th anniversary. Incidentally, this celebration falls on the same week that commemorates the first anniversary of Typhoon Yolanda. KMJS will revisit the provinces that were heavily affected by Yolanda to provide happiness and inspiration to survivors.

On board a customized KMJS truck, Jessica Soho shares her family’s special longganisa and tapa recipes. Soho will sell these delectable dishes with the help of Marian Rivera. Proceeds will benefit those who were affected by the super typhoon in Tacloban.

For the first time since Yolanda hit his province, Tom Rodriguez travels to Samar for a reunion with his family and friends.

Meanwhile, follow Iya Villania as she journeys around Cebu to promote the city’s tourism industry, which was also affected by the storm. Get ready for her special production number with world-renowned Cebu Dancing Inmates.

The KMJS truck will also go around Leyte to bring surprises that would uplift the spirit of typhoon survivors. Basketball superstars, led by Alvin Patrimonio, will join in and prepare special gifts for the Warays.

Christian Bautista serenades Taclobanons in a special mini-concert with online singing sensations previously featured in KMJS, Zendee Tenerefe and Aldrich Talonding.
