Jonalyn ‘fearless’ again

MANILA, Philippines - Jonalyn Viray (photo) is set to conquer the concert stage once again with #Fearless: The Repeat.

Jonalyn’s second major concert, besides showcasing her performing prowess, also aims to raise funds for the rehabilitation of Typhoon Yolanda-stricken areas.

Last February, Jonalyn successfully staged #Fearless at the Music Museum as she marked her ninth anniversary in the music industry.

For her upcoming show, Jonalyn dares to step onto the stage with bolder and more stellar performances.

“I no longer have inhibitions and I’ve taken to heart all the lessons I’ve learned from my first major concert. I’ll be able to show them (in the repeat concert). Like before, there’s gonna be a song na bawat manonood, makaka-relate,” Jonalyn said.

As for her preparations, Jonalyn is keen on polishing her every song number. Tom Rodriguez, Thor and Queen of Soul Jaya will be special guests.

Jonalyn broke into showbiz after being hailed as the first grand champion of the Kapuso talent search Pinoy Pop Superstar. Since then, she has showcased her wide vocal range in a series of tours, guestings, variety shows and teleserye theme songs. 

Jonalyn lent her voice to the recording of My Husband’s Lover ending theme Help Me Get Over, which was recently chosen as Song of the Year at the sixth PMPC Star Awards for Music.

#Fearless: The Repeat happens on Nov. 14, 8 p.m. at the Music Museum.
