Gary Valenciano in good terms with Jericho Rosales

MANILA, Philippines - Gary Valenciano is stil in good terms with Jericho Rosales even as the younger actor has left talent agency Manila Genesis Inc.

“We're okay, kami ni Jericho we're fine,” Gary said in an interview on Thursday. “As a matter of fact kapag may ASAP kami pumupunta siya sa dressing room, doon tumatambay paminsan-minsan.”

Jericho left Manila Genesis Inc. and returned to Star Magic, where he stayed for 10years before moving to the talent management of Garv V's wife, Angeli..

“But Jericho and I, ang relationship namin as magkaibigan is deeper than our careers. Hopefully someday we can talk, by then I can tell you kung anong naging outcome.”

Meanwhile, Gary said he's excited to have grandchildren.

His eldest son Paolo got married with Samantha Godinez, while his second son Gabriel is engaged with Tricia Centenera.

“I'm excited,” he said, smiling. “Kasi ayoko magkaro'n ng apo na matanda na talaga ako. Gusto ko pa rin 'yong swimming, 'yong takbuhan na kasama ko ang apo ko, game, kaya pa naman.”

Although he doesn't see her daughter Kiana settling down anytime soon, he admits that he gets sad thinking his children leaving them.

“It's mabigat in a sense kasi we have to admit na sooner or later it'll just be me and Angeli,” he said. “Sinasbai nga ni Kiana, 'papa lumipat na kayo kasi balang araw kayong dalawa na lang ni mama,' sabi ko, 'no, aayusin ko 'yong bahay para sa mga apo ko.'  Para tuluy-tuloy sila sa bahay, bibisita sa akin.

“It's heavy but at the same time mas mabigat 'yong pagiging joyful.”
