James Reid: Bret Jackson, Andi Eigenmann no longer dating

MANILA, Philippines- James Reid said his best friend Bret Jackson is hurting after he stopped dating actress Andi Eigenmann.

Bret and Andi were last spotted together during the Cosmo Bachelor Bash in September.

In an interview with push.com, James said that the two dated for two months, until his best friend decided to give Andi “space.”

“Bret doesn’t tell me too much about the reasons or anything, but I know Andi has been through a lot of stuff right now,” he said. “It’s really a complicated time for her so I think they're just friends for now.”

Although his best friend is hurt about what happened, James said he knows Andi didn't intend to hurt Bret, saying, “I know Andi; she’s such an amazing girl. She’s so kind. I know she never intended to hurt anyone."

To cheer up Bret, they recently went on vacation in Cebu.

James echoed Bret's advice to him on love: “Don’t rush it, don’t look for it, it's supposed to find you, something like that.”

James will be starring in the Viva film “Para sa Hopeless Romantic” opposite Nadine Lustre.
