Sexy Talk with Kiko & Krista

Four films are competing in the Sineng Pambansa Horror Plus Film Festival 2014 organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) for the Halloween Week (Oct. 29 to Nov. 4) — Romy Suzara’s Sigaw sa Hatinggabi, Edgardo “Boy” Vinarao’s Bacao, Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes’ Tiyanak, and Gil M. Portes’ Hukluban.

Starring in Portes’ Hukluban are Krista Miller (who figured prominently in the break-up of a popular couple) and rising indie actor Kiko Matos in a reworked story of Gabi Kung Sumikat ang Araw, the 1983 thriller that Portes also directed, with Gina Alajar as a nubile nightclub singer who enchants men at night and leaves them before dawn lest they discover her secret (daylight turns her into a crone).

In Hukluban, written by Enrique “Eric” Ramos, Krista plays a cursed enchantress who roams at night in search of love and disappears before sunrise. Kiko plays her three lovers: a boxer crushed by depression and tuberculosis in 1948, a communist rebel harboring a dangerous secret in 1975 and an adventurous mountain climber in search of Maria Makiling in 2014.

What is sexy to you?

Krista: Confidence. ‘Yung pag may tiwala ka sa sarili mo. And a great sense of humor.

Kiko: Sexy has to do with a person’s character and physicality. A woman with confidence is sexy. But a woman with a great mind is even sexier. A woman who is approachable is sexy. But a woman who thinks of herself less is even sexier. Lastly, a woman with nice curves is really, really sexy.

When do you feel sexy?

Krista: When I’m fast asleep. That’s when I feel vulnerable, no pretensions and no inhibitions.

Kiko: I feel sexy when I make a connection with someone, especially when our eyes meet.

What part of your body do you find sexiest?

Krista: My eyes.

Kiko: My buttocks, down to my thighs.

What part of a man’s/woman’s body do you find sexiest?

Krista: His eyes. They can be alluring, too. They can create connections.

Kiko: Her butt. I like some “junk in the trunk.” Curvy hips and good thighs are very sexy, too.

Sexiest time of day?

Krista: Night time. In the morning kasi, you’re in hurry to start your day. At night, the mood is lighter, you are more relaxed. There’s something about the night that makes everybody sweeter and emotional.

Kiko: Night time.

Sexiest part of the house?

Krista: The kitchen. You want to cook and you feel extra sexy when creating a dish.

Kiko: Kitchen.

Sexiest book?

Krista: Before, Fifty Shades of Grey. In one scene in Hukluban, my character Mira is shown reading to Kiko’s character her favorite book, Delta of Venus. I became interested in the book because it’s so erotic.

Sexiest movie?

Krista: Hmmm, no idea because I’m more into horror.

Kiko: Y Tu Mama Tambien (Maribel Verdu), Ken Park (Maeve Quinla), Original Sin (Angelina Jolie) and Don Jon (Scarlett Johansson).

Sexiest musical instrument?

Krista: Guitars are so overrated. I think violin is sexy because it’s more complicated to work with.

Kiko: Saxophone.

Sexiest song?

Krista: Dance For You by Beyoncé. Lakas makaakit pag sinasayaw.

Kiko: Thinkin’ About Your Body by Bobby Maferrin and Ordinary People by John Legend.

Sexiest TV show?

Krista: Sex and the City. Not because of sex but because of the story. Ang seductive niya especially when you’re feeling down. The characters are the perfect examples na there are times when nothing is really going right. But eventually you’ll find happiness when you’re no longer dependent on other people to make you feel happy.

Kiko: Midnight Hot on Fashion TV.

Sexiest food?

Krista: Fruits. They are sweet and healthy, plus when you’re taking care of your health they are sexy.

Kiko: Any Bicolano dish.

Sexiest perfume?

Krista: Bvlgari Amethyst or Very Sexy by Victoria’s Secret.

Kiko: Bvlgari.

Sexiest animal?

Krista: Lion. It’s very strong and powerful. It’s sexy when you have power and you know how to use it.

Kiko: Cat.

Sexiest billboard?

Krista: Bench’s Naked Truth.

Kiko: Solenn Heussaff’s billboards.

Sexiest clothes?

Krista: Usually jeans with a fitted top.

Kiko: Skinny jeans, skinny dresses and short-shorts.

Sexiest scene you have seen in a movie?

Krista: Any couple dancing together. Passionate! You can feel the attraction between them. Also, any scene showing dirty dancing.

Kiko: That of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson in Don Jon.

Sexiest scene you have ever done?

Krista: My love scene with Kiko in Hukluban. I really love that scene. The sex is passionate and hot. Very realistic!

Kiko: The ones in Hukluban.

Sexiest thing you have ever done to or with yourself?

Krista: Almost naked pictorials. Well, it makes me feel good. It means that professional photographers have so much trust in you to ask you to pose naked. Parang affirmation na sexy ka sa paningin nila. Nakakadagdag ng self-esteem.

Sexiest thing you have ever done to or with somebody?

Krista: Seduce my boyfriend in the same movie.

Kiko: Do body shots.

Sexiest fantasy?

Krista: I want a man to throw me onto a bed and then for him to rip my clothes off and kiss me hard and passionate.

Kiko: Go on a motorbike ride on the mountains of Tanay with a girl, me topless and she wearing bikinis.

Sexiest face of a man/woman?

Krista: Any macho face na walang dudang he’s tunay na lalaki.

Kiko: The more fierce a woman’s face looks, the better.

Three men/women that you find sexy?

Krista: Derek Ramsay, James Reid and Piolo Pascual.

Kiko: Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff and Monica Belucci.
