MANILA, Philippines — A few of the country's most beautiful women contend for the title of Miss Universe Philippines on Sunday at 7 p.m. and will represent the Pearl of the Orient in the prestigious worldwide pageant.

Filipino beauty Megan Young was crowned the 63rd Miss World in Bali, Indonesia in 2013 and is expected to make an appearance to turn over the local title in the event.
