TV5 presents Almost a Cinderella Story

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Every girl dreams of one day being a Cinderella whose prince searches for her after she runs away from their magical moment at the strike of 12 midnight. TV5 presents a new twist to the well-loved fairytale with Almost a Cinderella Story. The fourth kilig offering of the week-long mini-series of Wattpad Presents stars Eula Caballero and Carl Guevara, who will make viewers laugh and fall in love in the much-awaited TV adaptation of the popular Wattpad story.

Almost a Cinderella Story depicts a fairytale-like love story as re-lived in this era by Ekang (Eula) and her prince’s quest of finding her. Fall in love all over again with the modern yet hilarious twist to the timeless fairytale as Carl’s character, Alden, goes on a journey to look for his own Cinderella, who is no other than Ekang — who makes the embarrassing blunder of leaving behind not her glass slipper for her prince to find but, of all things, her dentures.

Written by Soju, Almost a Cinderella Story initially became popular in Wattpad’s dynamic and interactive community of readers and writers around the world, where it was registered over 600,000 reads. Its pocket book edition was also well-received by its followers and readers after it was published by LIB Creatives Publishing.

Joining the romantic-comedy mini-series are Carmi Martin, Marvelous Alejo, Chris Leonardo, Christine Serrano, Jhayvot Galang and Danes Lee.

Wattpad Presents Almost a Cinderella Story airs weeknights at 7:30, starting tomorrow, Oct. 13.
