GMA News TV airs Ms. Q.C. pageant

MANILA, Philippines - GMA News TV will air the Ms. Quezon City Diamond Jubilee Pageant tonight at 10.

Televiewers witness once more the journey of the candidates that led to the coronation of Shecill Bagaporo (photo) as Quezon City’s only Diamond Jubilee Queen. Alongside her are Roanna Ray Addie Jose, first runner-up and Ms. Environment; and Patrixia Sherley Santos, third runner-up and Ms. Social Empowerment.

Featured at the pageant night were performances from OJ Mariano, Jay-R, Luke Mejares and Jose Mari Chan. The pageant also showcased Quezon City’s talented designers with all 25 candidates wearing evening gowns crafted by Quezonian fashion designers.

The Ms. Quezon City Diamond Jubilee Pageant was led by Mayor Herbert Bautista in preparation for the 75th founding anniversary celebration of Quezon City. The winners of the pageant will serve as the city’s ambassadress for the Jubilee celebration and will promote the local governments’ thrust and ideals.
