Derek and Angelica broke up in 2012 after being together for six years.
According to reports, Jolly used Angelica's interview with showbiz magazine StarStudio as basis of her concubinage complaint. In the said article, published on the April 2013 issue of the magazine, Angelica admitted living in with Derek.
Angelica has remained mum on the issue, although she posted a photo of herself and current boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz on Instagram a day after the complaint case was filed.
“This is us happy. God be with you,” Angelica posted on Instagram.
