Fabio and Denisse at their daughter’s baptism

MANILA, Philippines - This is the controversial picture that went viral on social media, showing Brapanese model/actor Fabio Ide and girlfriend Denisse Oca at the recent baptism of their five-month-old daughter Danielle.

Some people may frown on Fabio (said to be a devout Catholic) for siring a child out of wedlock but others may praise him for, unlike some celebs in a similar situation, being man enough to publicly acknowledge his being a father.

The picture reportedly prompted Fabio’s non-showbiz girlfriend to vent her resentment on Denisse and her mother, Melissa Mendez, using strong words to describe them such as “evil,” etc. Denisse fought back, insisting that the picture was uploaded on social media with the consent of Fabio who knew that the baptism came with a big party to which their friends were invited.

Caught between the two ferocious females, Fabio sided with neither of them and shielded his daughter, promising to continue supporting her. In the wake of the exchange of ugly words on social media, Fabio has reportedly broken up with his non-showbiz girlfriend.

As Funfare reported in a blind item last May, barely a week after the baby was born, Fabio is listed in the birth certificate as the father.
