An aquarium on wheels

MANILA, Philippines - For months, buzz on an “aquarium on wheels” has been circulating not only around the Metro, but also on social media. This “aquarium” turned out to be the vehicle that Sam YG, Slick Rick and Toni Tony (photo) have been riding on in their talk show.

The red-and-yellow vehicle used to be food truck. It was converted into a TV studio-type set-up to accommodate the Boys and their guests in their weekly program, Boys Ride Out.

Boys Ride Out is a one-hour talk show that has the Boys picking up their guests and taking them for a ride. Talented guitarist RJ Jimenez provides the live jams inside the roving studio to complete the road trip.

According to Slick Rick, their show surprises not only their guests, who experience a rolling studio for the first time, but also the bystanders and commuters who spot the van and recognize the Boys’ and their guests — stuck in traffic along with them!

Catch the Boys for more of their fun and crazy road trips. Boys Ride Out airs Saturday nights at 9, with replays on Wednesday nights at 10:30 and Saturdays at 11 a.m. on 9TV.
