The show must go on: Celebs toil despite 'Mario'
MANILA, Philippines - Like the public who braved the bad weather to get to work on Friday, celebrities were not dissuaded from shooting for their projects.
As typhoon "Mario" brought continuous rains and howling winds in the metro, the show had to go on for the performers.
The "Queen of All Media" Kris Aquino, for one, still went to star in a television commercial on a rainy Friday with her stylist for the project, Liz Uy.
“Yes, we are shooting a TVC! Hard at work with @lizzzuy @celestetuviera @juansarte @alvingagui,” the caption says.
Mariel Padilla posted a video clip on Instagram which was sent to her by husband Robin Padilla who is currently shooting Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Bonifacio.”
“Yay for the Bonifacio team despite the weather conditions, they were able to shoot. Good job! When my husband sent me this video, I said one thing, 'Hindi tayo nagkamali kay Vina because you guys are comfortable with each other. Maganda" #BonifacioAngUnangPangulo #Bonifacio #MMFF2014,” she said in the caption.
As for KC Concepcion, the shoot for the ABS-CBN primetime series “Ikaw Lamang” pushed through. Fortunately, they were shooting indoors.
“Habang nag wo-worry sa bagyo at baha ng outside world, nandito kami at TULOY ANG TAPING ng 'Ikaw Lamang'... God bless us all! Manila, stay STRONG and BE SAFE everyone!,” she said.
The bet is still on for the “Bet on Your Baby” host Judy Ann Santos and some celebrity guests like Denise Laurel and Andrea del Rosario as they shot an episode of the show.
She captioned the photo with “Oh yes! Kahit bumabagyo nag-bebet pa rin kami! :) #kunyarinalanghindiaffectedkaymario”
Tuesday Vargas, meanwhile, posted a photo of the studio lights during the shoot of “Loko Mo Ko Unli.”
“Taping day despite the rain. Bless us,” she said.
