Converse’s 2014 Fall Collection

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Celebrities recently witnessed the preview of Converse’s New Fall Collection held at the Orient Square in Ortigas Center.

Converse offers diverse designs for its All Star Collection, including classic, fashionable and stylish Chuck Taylor All Star ’70, All Star Combat Boot, All Star Black Sabbath, Converse by John Varvatos All Star One Star; The Cons Sneaker and Apparel Collection (Cons Weapon Skate, Cons Malden Racer, Cons Pro Leather); and the Jack Purcell Collection (Jack Purcell Footwear Collection, Jack Purcell Mid, Jack Purcell Split Tongue).

Among the highlights was the unveiling of the Chuck Taylor All Star Rubber Collection. The line opted for a monochromatic assemblage with new profiles and elevated detailing that can endure rainy days or mud pits. The collection comes in black, red, white and yellow colors.

For those who would prefer lighter selections, Converse by John Varvatos All Star Multi-Eyelet has a resin-coated textile treatment and washed-down print. It also offers different elastic laces to complement the burnish midsole.

The event was graced by GMA Network talents Ruru Madrid, Thea Tolentino, Hiro Peralta and Gabrille Garcia, ABS-CBN’s Marco Gumabao and Tippy Dos Santos, The STAR’s Lifestyle assistant editor Igan D’Bayan, Kelly Misa, Maricar de Mesa, Bodie Cruz, Christian Vasquez, China Cojuangco, Eri Neeman and Kean Cipriano. —VER PAULINO
