25 compete in search for Miss QC Diamond Jubilee

MANILA, Philippines - As Quezon City anticipates the celebration of its 75th year, 25 gorgeous ladies were chosen from a field of 37 (representing the city’s barangays) to continue the quest to become Miss Quezon City Diamond Jubilee. Performers at the elimination rounds held at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo were Jake Vargas, Erik Santos and OJ Mariano, with JM Rodriguez and Issa Litton as hosts.

The coronation night is set for Sept. 13 also at the AFP Theater. The winner will take home P200,000 in cash and the title of Miss Quezon City Diamond Jubilee, while three runners-up will also get cash prizes along with the titles Miss QC Environmental Protection, Miss QC Social Services and Miss QC Business-Friendly.

 “The Miss Quezon City Diamond Jubilee pageant aims to motivate the young female residents of Quezon City to aspire for the highest standards of beauty, talent and personality, which are necessary as they are expected to be city’s ambassadress of goodwill and role models for the youth,” said QC Mayor Herbert Bautista.
