Aljur Abrenica goes to court to end GMA-7 contract
MANILA, Philippines - Aljur Abrenica on Thursday afternoon went to the Quezon City Hall of Justice to end his contract with GMA Network.
The Kapuso actor filed for Judicial Confirmation of Rescission of Contract against GMA Network, the Philippine Entertainment Portral reported.
“Kaya po ako nandito ngayon dahil hindi po ako nabigyan ng pagpapahalaga at respeto pos a career na gusto ko tahakin,” Aljur said in an interview.
The actor said that there was no other option for him to end the contract with GMA-7.
“Sana may matutunan po ang magkabilang panig. At ipinagdadasal ko rin po na pagkatapos po ng lahat ng ito, e, magkaro’n pa rin ng magandang relasyon ang magkabilang panig,” the actor said.
Reached for comment, GMA Network told philSTAR.com that it cannot release an official statement pending their receipt of the complaint.
“GMA Network has not yet received a copy of the complaint filed by Mr. Aljur Abrenica. A statement will be issued when we have received and reviewed the contents of the complaint,” the network said.
