Rita ready to show fierce side

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Artist Center talent Rita de Guzman (photo) is set to unleash her fierce side in the upcoming concert of Rico J. Puno and Ai-Ai delas Alas on July 26 at the Solaire Grand Ballroom.

Rita is the guest performer in the comedic duo’s show titled Macho Gwapita.

“I’m very thankful for this opportunity. In this concert, I’ll no longer be pa-tweetums since I’m already 18,” shares the Kapuso performer.

In her Macho Gwapita stint, Rita is slated to perform Di Lang Ikaw, a self-composed track from her upcoming album under GMA Records.

For Rita, performing in the Total Entertainer and the Comedy Concert Queen’s show is no joke for they are considered as fixtures in the concert scene.

Fortunately, she has already grown self-confidence at this point in her career.

Rita’s career was launched after being named as the first grand champion of QTV’s singing competition titled Popstar Kids. Since then, she had appearances in variety shows and a slew of drama series.

Aside from rehearsing for Macho Gwapita, Rita is also busy promoting Kamkam, a movie directed by Joel Lamangan, which is now showing in selected movie theaters nationwide.
