Lovi Poe admits relationship with Rocco Nacino

MANILA, Philippines – After several months on being mum about the issue, Lovi Poe finally admitted that she is in a relationship with fellow GMA-7 artist Rocco Nacino.

 

“I'm gonna say it... Yes,” the actress said when asked by TV host Lolit Solit if she and Rocco are officially a couple in an interview on GMA-7's showbiz talk show “Startalk” aired Saturday, July 5.

 

She also said, “I have to say that he's special to me. So whatever you guys think about it, basta special siya sa akin.”

 

Lovi and Rocco have been rumored to be a couple since 2013. The two worked together in the GMA-7 shows “Yesterday's Bride” in 2012 and “Akin Pa Rin An Bukas” in 2013. 

 

The two were together in Europe for a vacation last April.

The GMA-7 actress also admitted she was in a relationship with ABS-CBN actor Jake Cuenca. The two were rumored to be a couple after working together in 2011 for the movie “My Neighbor's Wife.”

 

“I guess I was in a weird stage in my life before. I wasn't able to give him the right or proper recognition. I guess this is it,” Lovi said when asked why she never admitted her relationship with Jake. 

 

The “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” star admitted her keeping mum about her previous relationships “has always been an issue” for her. 

 

“I'm a very private person. And it has always been an issue naman for me, e. Ever since, hindi talaga ako nagsasalita especially when it comes to my personal life. So in my past relationships naging isyu talaga yan. So, I'm trying to change things if ever,” she said.

 

Aside from Jake, Lovi was also previously romantically linked to former Ilocos Sur representative Ronald Singson.

 

“Certain things happen. Alam mo yun, may mga bagay kasi na... siguro may mga plinano ka pero ang tadhana na ang hindi sumang-ayon,” she said of Singsong.
