Makati denizens commemorated the 116th Philippine Independence Day with the theme honoring Filipino ingenuity. Part of the celebration was the unveiling of the exhibit titled Dekalogo: Code of Ethics on love of God, country and neighbor, spearheaded by Frederick Mabini, grandson of Philippine hero, Apolinario Mabini.

As homage to the great Mabini, the OPM Hitmen performed classic Filipino hits that encapsulate heroism and nationalism. Well-known balladeers Richard Reynoso, Renz Verano, Chad Borja and Rannie Raymundo took the stage singing songs to celebrate the country’s storied past and Filipino pride.
