For QC’s Diamond Jubilee Queen

MANILA, Philippines - Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista (fourth from left) presents a prototype crown that will be worn by the will-be-crowned Miss Quezon City Diamond Jubilee at Tuesday’s formal launching of QC’s search for the face of the city’s celebration of its 75th founding anniversary. Mayor Bautista, during the pageant’s launching, said the city’s search is open to young ladies who best represent the many virtues that the city seeks to nurture among the young. With the mayor at the launch were (from left) city budget officer Marian Orayani, social services development department head Teresa Mariano, 1976 Miss Quezon City and former QC Vice Mayor Connie Angeles, secretary to the mayor and Diamond Jubilee committee executive director Tadeo Palma, senior adviser to the mayor Manuel Alba, communication coordinating center head Regina Samson and public affairs and information office head Gregorio Bañacia.
