QC Mayor Herbert Bautista, Kris Aquino still 'friends'

MANILA, Philippines- Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista remains friends with TV host-actress Kris Aquino.

Herbert and Kris were linked to each other in April after Kris admitted that they were dating.

A few days after, however, the "Queen of All Media" clarified that she and the actor-politician are just “best friends.”

“We started as friends so we're still friends,” Herbert said in an interview with Mario Dumaual aired on “TV Patrol” Tuesday.

"We try to keep in touch, pero lately hindi masyado. Pero I'm very thankful na na-accommodate niya pa rin tayo bilang kaibigan. Just like with Derek [Ramsay] and some of her friends, Vica Ganda,” he added.

For now, Herbert wants to focus on being a good father to his kids, and being a good leader to his city.

When one female reported asked when he plans to finally find a girl to settle down with, the Quezon City Mayor joked about it and replied, “ikaw!” followed by a hearty laugh.
