Little Miss Solane winners named

MANILA, Philippines - Duchess Blythe Uybengkee, 13, and Marydee Manayaga, seven, were hailed winners of the Little Miss Solane 2014 during a coronation night held last Saturday at the SMX Convention Center of SM Aura Premier in Taguig City.

Duchess and Marydee outshone other candidates in the categories Teenies and Cuties, respectively, to bring home P50,000 cash, plus P50,000 worth of scholarships and personality development programs.

Also awarded under the Cuties category were first runner-up Steph Netthel Redne Yamut and second runner-up Ashley Kate Arindain. Under the Teenies category were second runner-up Kyla Angelica Marie de Catalina and first runner-up Ma. Dominique Trillana.

The panel of judges was composed of Isla LPG Corp. promotions and research manager Val Batenga; brand manager Ernest Loquinario; Solane Mother of the Year winner Jessie Lou Lucero; Mrs. Philippines-Globe 2013 second runner-up Rachel Ann Felix; Woman of Substance 2013 awardee Rizza Singson; Al Gatmaitan and Patty Betita.
