MANILA, Philippines – Sheryl Ann Reyes, the wife of former actor and Universal Motion Dancer member Wowie De Guzman, passed away on Saturday, April 26.
According to a report aired on ABS-CBN's news program “TV Patrol†on Tuesday, April 29, Reyes died a month after giving birth to their first daughter, Alex Rafael. The cause of her death is still undetermined.
“Sobrang bilis talaga, e.
Wowie brought Sheryl to a hospital in Pampanga, where the doctors tried to revive her.
The 37-year-old actor said his wife suffered from erratic blood pressure and gestational diabetes during her pregnancy.
The actor—who shot to fame as the onscreen partner of actress Judy Ann Santos during the 90s—added he will focus on raising her daughter after the passing of his wife.
Wowie and Sheryl married in July 2013.
