MANILA, Philippines – For the first time since they were romantically linked early last year, Sam Concepcion admitted that he and Jasmine Curtis Smith are officially together.
“I guess so, oo,†the Kapamilya actor said when asked if he and the TV5 talent are a couple in an interview with ABS-CBN's showbiz talk show “Buzz ng Bayan†on Sunday, April 20.
This comes after it was reported that Sam was confronted by Anne Curtis, Jasmine's older sister, during the birthday party of Vice Ganda earlier this month. According to reports, Anne told Sam during the party: “Ba't mo niloloko ang kapatid ko?â€

In a recent press conference, the 21-year-old singer-actor confirmed the confrontation did happen.
“As far as we are concerned, me and Anne, we're good, we're okay. Okay naman ang lahat, we know what happened or what transpired na nangyari sa amin. It's already in the past,†Sam told “Buzz ng Bayan,†adding they have already settled their issues.
The “Mirabella†actor said he was shocked with what happened between him and Anne but added he understood that the “Dyesebel†star is merely doing “her part to stand up for Jasmine.â€
“We're okay, okay naman po kami. But I guess she wants me to work hard for it, to show na deserving ako para sa kapatid niya,†Sam explained. “And naiintindihan ko naman yung part na yun.â€
He added, “Yes, there was a confrontation that happened. She did go up to me, she did talk to me. And hindi ko naman po sasabihin na hindi nangyari yun, but all for her sister... Naiintindihan ko syempre yun.â€
“Kasi kung ako may nakakabatang kapatid, siyempre gusto kong... you want to test yung manliligaw.â€
Sam also shrugged off rumors linking him to “Mirabella†co-star Julia Barretto, an issue Jasmine and Julia herself have dismissed.
"Actually, hindi ko alam. We do work with each other, pareho kaming nasa 'Mirabella.' Yun nga po, lumaki kasi nang lumaki yung storya," he said.
