Fun summer with Gantimpala

MANILA, Philippines - Gantimpala Theater continues its summer tradition of rearing the young and the thespians in the field of theater as it opens its doors with three workshops.

Headed by artistic director Joel Lamangan and chairman-president Jun Flavier Pablo, Gantimpala Theater offers Children’s Musical Theater (for kids age five to 12); Teens and Adults Musical Theater (from 13 years old and above); and Advanced Musical Theater (open to those who already attended a musical theater workshop).

Classes are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon (children); 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (teens and adults); and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (advanced) starting April 21 to May 24.

Facilitators are theater actress Lodie Atis for Children’s Musical Theater; director, playwright and librettist Jose Jeffrey Camanag for Teens and Adults Musical Theater; Aliw awardee and URIAN nominee Roeder Camanag for Advance Musical Theater.

Enrollment is ongoing at the Gantimpala office located at the Former Rizal Park Library along P. Burgos cor. Ma. Orosa Sts., Luneta, Manila. It is also beside Planetarium. Tuition is P6,000.
