Teen Earth & Little Miss Earth Philippines auditions

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Miss Teen Earth and Little Miss Earth Philippines recently held successful screenings in key cities in Visayas and Mindanao, according to Vas Bismark (photo), the CEO of Captured Dreams Productions and the new trademark owner of the said pageants.

Vas said that Miss Teen Earth and Little Miss Earth Philippines are more of advocacy pageants. A vegetarian and an environmental advocate, he said the pageants will actively promote environmental awareness and how to deal with pressing issues like climate change.

The winners of Miss Teen Earth and Little Miss Earth Philippines will receive P500,000 worth of cash and prizes and a talent contract with Captured Dream Productions. The Miss Teen Earth 2014 winner will also receive  funding for an environmental project for her municipality and will wear the green crown sponsored by pageant owner and promoter by the Singapore-based Beverly Tan, who is also  behind the blue crown worn by Miss World 2013 Megan Young.

The Miss Teen Earth Philippines and Little Miss Earth Philippines crowns are laden with high-quality crystals and are valued at $50,000. Both of the crowns will be passed on year after year to the most deserving young girls who embody beauty, talent and love for Mother Earth.
