Captive Cinema releases Khumba & Three Days To Kill
MANILA, Philippines - A misfit zebra takes the blame for a drought, and embarks on an incredible journey to regain his dignity in the animated family-adventure film Khumba. Born into a superstitious herd with only half of his stripes, spirited Khumba (voiced by Jake Austin) is viewed with suspicion when the rain stops falling. But legend has it that the first zebras got their stripes by drinking from a mythical wateringhole deep in the Karoo desert, and Khumba is determined to find it so he will be accepted back into the throng.
With the help of a witty wildebeest and a colorful ostrich, he just might find it, too. Before he does, however, Khumba will have to prove his bravery by standing up to a fearsome leopard that could easily have him for lunch. AnnaSophia Robb, Steve Buscemi, Liam Neeson, Catherine Tate, Richard Grant and Laurence Fishburne also lend their voices to this uplifting tale of acceptance and perseverance. Khumba is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
Meanwhile, Kevin Costner stars in Three Days To Kill, a captivating story about a highly-skilled assasin facing a deadly illness while trying to reconcile a floundering relationship with the family that he has all but abandoned.
Ethan Renner (Costner), a veteran Secret Service agent, is sent to Paris on a critical mission to put a halt to the sale of nuclear triggers that have fallen into the hands of a dangerous group of criminals. After learning that he has less than a year to live, Ethan is determined to not only fulfill his operation, but to reacquaint himself with his ex-wife and teenage daughter, Zooey (Hailee Steinfeld), whom he has neglected for years. After being offered an experiment drug that could prolong his life in exchange for his involvement in one last mission, Ethan must make a choice between serving his country and finally being the father that he never was.
Both Khuma and Three Days To Kill are released and distributed by Captive Cinema.
