Dennis Trillio signs 3-year exclusive contract with GMA

MANILA, Philippines- Dennis Trillo  has signed a  three-year exclusive contract with GMA Network.

The contract signing took place Monday, February 17, and was attended by GMA Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, GMA President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar, GMA Entertainment TV's Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Dennis' manager Popoy Caritativo and other GMA executives.

“Sobrang proud ako na Kapuso pa rin ako,” Dennis said, who has been with the network for 11 years now. “Excited na akong gumawa ng mga bagong shows. Excited na akong magtrabaho ulit. Wala na akong mahihiling pa.”

The actor added that he’s “secured” with the network and that he’s “comfortable” with the people he works with.

“Dito sa GMA ako sobrang at home dahil kilala ko na ang mga tao dito mula sa pinakamaliit hanggang sa pinakamalaki,” he explained. “Dito ako sobrang kumportable dahil sila ang nagbigay sa akin ng mga projects na memorable kaya nandito ako ngayon.

“Kailanman hindi ko makakalimutan yung pagtitiwala na ibinigay nila sa akin. Secured ako sa GMA dahil alam ko na hindi nila ako pababayaan. Hindi ko nga napansin na 11 years na ako dito sa GMA.”

"My Husband’s Lover” part 2?

Meanwhile, Dennis has been very popular for his role as Eric in the primetime show "My Husband’s Lover,” together with Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana.

There have been reports that due to the show’s success, there’s a plan to do a part 2 of the drama series.

“Well, may naririnig akong mga balita,” he admits. “Sana matuloy.  Pero kung sakaling magkakaro’n ‘yon ng part 2, gagawin namin lahat para mas lalo pa siyang kagiliwan.”
