Thompkins Jr. & The New Stylistics at Edsa Shang

MANILA, Philippines - Russell Thompkins Jr. and The New Stylistics (photo) relive the soulful music of the ’70s in a rare dinner show tomorrow, Feb. 14, starting at 7 p.m., at the Isla Grand Ballroom of EDSA Shangri-La, Manila. 

American soul singer Thompkins Jr., known for his high tenor and falsetto vocals, is the enchanting voice behind pop culture era’s top-grossing songs like Betcha By Golly Wow, You Are Everything, You Make Me Feel Brand New, I’m Stone In Love With You and Miracle. He is the lead singer of Philadelphia vocal group The Stylistics and his distinct vocal prowess earned the group a stable spot at the Billboards. In 2004, he started a new group called Russell Thompkins Jr. and The New Stylistics.
