Galleria Duemila in Art 2 Art

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - This afternoon (3:30 to  4 p.m.) on DZRH (666 Khz on AM band), Art 2 Art features Galleria Duemila, with founder and artistic director Silvana Diaz relating how it became the longest-running commercial gallery in the Philippines. Opened in 1975, it is known as the home of leading Filipino contemporary artists.

On Feb. 16, Palanca Award winner Angelo “Sarge” Lacuesta talks about the discipline of writing fiction. He also shares his latest effort as co-editor of Maximum Volume, a new anthology of short stories by Filipino writers aged 45 and under.

Finally, on Feb. 23, tenor Jonathan Badon — also known as the Prince of Operatic Pop — relates his experiences as a crossover artist who switches from pop to opera music with ease.
