Basketball stars unveil Virtual Sports Inc.

MANILA, Philippines - The best in Philippine basketball gathered last Jan. 30 to unveil Virtual Sports Inc. in a glittery cocktail at the Revolver Fort Office at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Virtual Sports Inc. boasts of its stable comprising some of the top athletes and personalities from professional and amateur basketball and motor sports.

Owned and operated by industry experts, Virtual Sports Inc. is committed to uphold the highest standards in sports representation. It provides clients a wide-range of opportunities and services to maximize their talents not only in sports, but other fields of interests, such as business, education, media and entertainment.

“We believe our athletes can play at the highest level, and at the same time, tap into their other talents,” said Virtual Sports Inc. president Dondon Monteverde. “This is more than just basketball and sports. We make sure we assist and support them in pursuing their other passions.”

Dondon teamed up with notable sports agent Charlie Dy, CEO of Virtual Sports Inc., along with managing directors Edgar Tan and Paula Punla to guide  athletes in their sports careers, marketing and endorsement endeavors, public service, education and business plans.

Barangay Ginebra’s top rookie Greg Slaughter, San Mig Coffee’s James Yap, Talk ‘N Text’s Jimmy Alapag and Rain or Shine’s Jeric Teng lead the young and veteran PBA players under Virtual Sports.

Jeron Teng of UAAP champion La Salle heads the amateur stars in the group along with National University’s Ray Parks, San Beda’s Baser Amer and NLEX’s Kevin Alas.

“We want them to be well-rounded individuals,” said Charlie. “We want them to focus on and excel in their sports careers. But at the same time, we hope they can serve as role models to inspire younger athletes.”
