Pinoy nurse is 2014 Mister Asian World

MANILA, Philippines - Jayare Tamayo Doncillo of Quezon City, a 27-year-old nursing graduate from Our Lady of Fatima College, won 2014 Mister Asian World, beating nine other finalists from Asian countries at ceremonies held last Jan. 18 in Singapore. The contestants competed in several categories — national costume, formal wear and swimwear. Jayare’s prizes included 2,500 Singapore dollars, crown, trophy, sash, vouchers and a one-year contract with a boutique sponsor. A part-time model, he works as a senior visual merchandiser.
