1st LU2TA ultramarathon set on Feb. 8-9

MANILA, Philippines - The first-ever Luneta to Tagaytay Midnight 60 km. Ultramarathon (LU2TA) is set on Feb. 8 to 9. The race will start in front of the Rizal monument at Luneta Park and ends at the Palace In The Sky in Tagaytay City. The run will be fired off at exactly 12 midnight with cut-off time of 14 hours. Right photo: LU2TA runners and organizers who joined the recon run to familiarize themselves on the last 40k of the route (Imus, Cavite to Palace in the Sky, Tagaytay City) last Jan. 19. Registration fee is P1,750 which include race bib and finisher items such as trophy, medal (far right) and finisher shirt. Interested parties can register at A Runner’s Circle, 100 Miles Café and Trinity Cycle Shop. Deadline for registration is on Jan. 31. The event is organized by Prince Multi Sports Events, Inc.
