Cinema One Originals extends deadline

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Cinema One is still accepting entries for the film festival that showcases the most original of visions and most unique of voices until Feb. 14.

All submissions should be full scripts for a narrative feature-length film.

The film script should tackle a commercially-viable Filipino story with universal themes. The filmmaker submitting these script entries should be ready to discuss the marketable points of the proposed film project.

From all submissions, 10 finalists will be selected and will be given a production budget of P2M each. This year’s Cinema One Originals Festival will mark its 10th year of bringing the work of independent filmmakers to higher heights.

Cinema One Originals films that have made a mark in local and world include Mariposa, Sa North Diversion Road, Six Degrees of Separation From Lilia Cuntapay, Confessional, Ang Damgo ni Eleuteria, among others. For details, visit Cinema One on Facebook (www.facebook.com/Cinema1Channel).
