Angeline ‘excited’ to have a love life

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- Songs and matters of the heart are something interrelated for singers.

A song will mean something more for a singer if they’ve been through something in their life or currently going through something with their personal relationships.

Angeline Quinto attests to this as she admits in her album launch Wednesday night, January 15, that whenever she encounters heartache, she would let it out through singing.

Like with her current album, “Higher Love,” the 24-year-old singer said that the songs in the album is like the story of her personal life.

“Oo naman,” she replied when asked if this album is the story of her life. Kasi halos buong kuwento ng album, e, naranasan ko lahat," she said.

After no’n nagkaro’n ng problema, tapos dumating point na hindi ko alam kung dapat umasa pa ko or mahahalin ko pa rin siya.”

She even recalled that when she was recording the song “Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin,” which is the theme song of the upcoming tele-serye “The Legal Wife,” she was really emotional.

Excited, but not in a hurry

Meanwhile, Angeline admits that she is also excited to have a "love life."

A lot of people assumed that the album’s “story” is about her and Coco Martin, a relationship that blossomed in 2012 when they worked on the film “Born to Love You.” The love story, however, ended abruptly and did not become official.

“Puro si Coco Martin, iba naman!” she replied with a laugh.

Another name being linked to Angeline is his “ASAP” co-artist Erik Santos, which she describes as “close friend.”

Asked more about her love experience, Angeline also admitted that she tend to easily fall in love.
