Stan Lee’s Superhumans is back

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - GMA News TV Channel 11 brings back the first season of Stan Lee’s Superhumans, which airs Sundays at 4:45 p.m.

Hosted by Stan Lee, founder of Marvel Comics and the legendary creator of some of the most popular comic book superheroes, and Daniel Browning-Smith, who’s been dubbed as the world’s most flexible man, the series embarks on a search of people with “real-life superpowers.”

For its pilot episode, Daniel investigates four people, rumored to have amazing abilities. In India, he meets Rajmohan Nair, who claims to be immune to electrocution.

In the US, he finds Scott Flansburg, who can calculate complex arithmetic faster than anyone on the planet; Juan Ruiz is  blind since birth but visualizes the world using the same form of sonar that bats and dolphins use; and Dennis Rogers, who claims to have super strength.

These “superhumans” undergo scientific testing that may help explain their gifts and are then put to the ultimate test to demonstrate what separates them from every other person on the planet.
