Sharon, Kiko going green

MANILA, Philippines - Go green. That seems to be the message from Sharon Cuneta and husband, former Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, who sent plants in cute flowerpots last Christmas. Nice gift and a growing one since when the plants grow bigger, you wait for them to multiply and transfer them to bigger maseteras.

The plants came from the couple’s farm in the province, which is keeping Kiko busy now that he’s out of the Senate.

‘Plants are easier to talk to than senators,’ Kiko joked when he sent me fresh harvest middle of last year.

The nine little plants are: Lemon Balm, Ashitaba, Oregano, Arugula, Curly Parsley, Tarragon, Citronella, Peppermint and Flat Parsley.
