Bianca in no rush to settle down, happy for newlywed ex-boyfriend

MANILA, Philippines – Bianca Gonzales has been in a relationship with JC Intal for over two years now.

But while she admits talking about the future with her basketball player boyfriend, the 30-year-old TV host said she is no rush to settle down.

“It’s hard when a girl is asked because ang babae naman, hindi talaga alam. Pero what I can say is, I’m not rushing,” Bianca said during the press conference for the January issue of Men’s Health and Women’s Health on Tuesday, January 7.

Bianca is the cover girl of this month’s Women’s Health, while Kapuso actor Geoff Eigenmann graces the cover of this month’s Men’s Health.

Asked if she’s ready if ever JC pops the question, the “Umagang Kay Ganda” co-host feels she’ll probably just “take the leap of faith.”

“Some days feeling ko ready ako. Ibang days naman feeling ko, ‘Oh my gosh, no, not yet.’ So from what I’ve heard from friends, sinasabi nila na hindi ka naman ever sobrang ready,” Bianca explained, adding she’ll be lucky if she does end up tying the knot with JC.

“Pero ang hirap magsalita ng tapos lalo na kung ikaw yung babae,” she said. “I don’t want to be assuming. Ayoko rin naman pa-Maria Clara. Sapat lang.”

Not whirlwind romance

The topic of Bianca’s love life came up when members of the press asked her about Lino Cayetano recently tying the knot with former Ateneo volleyball player Fille Cainglet.

Bianca, the ex-girlfriend of the Taguig congressman, said she’s happy for the newlyweds, adding she remains close to Lino and his family.

She even revealed that she gave Lino “a few tips” when he was still courting Fille.

“Binigyan ko lang siya ng enlightenment. And fairness naman, naging happily ever after sila,” the TV host said.
 
Lino and Fille have been in a relationship for three months before getting married.

“Hindi siguro sikreto na Lino has been through so many relationships and, with that, has learned so many things. For me, ang nangyari lang dun, more than a whirlwind romance, alam mo yung point in a guy’s life na, ‘Alam mo, gusto ko na mag-settle down, ready na ako.’ And sakto, dumating si Fille sa buhay niya,” she said.
