Ara Mina saddened by grandfather’s death on Christmas day

MANILA, Philippines - Ara Mina is deeply saddened by the death of her grandfather, former Quezon City mayor Ismael Mathay.

Mathay died on Christmas day, December 25, after suffering a heart attack.

Ara expressed her emotions through her Instagram account, where she posted a photo of her and her grandfather.

In the caption she said, “Today, heaven has gained another angel. I will treasure the memories I have of you. You were one in a million, a great leader and most importantly the greatest loving, and caring grandfather to all of us. Thank you for all the love. We love you lolo! We will truly miss you…”
