The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Rotary Club of Makati South donated through Edu Manzano (fourth from right) P720,000 to buy about 48 pump boats for Edu’s hometown, Concepcion, Iloilo which was badly affected by Typhoon Yolanda. Edu has been personally approaching different organizations to seek help for Concepcion.

Rotary Club of Makati South president Ritz Estorco, past presidents Louie Vega, Dars Padilla and Joey Leagogo were behind the move to adopt Concepcion, Iloilo as a beneficiary.

Furthermore, Edu’s brainchild Ako Mismo Movement coordinated with a US foundation to put up command centers in areas badly affected by Yolanda.
