Momzillas now on video

MANILA, Philippines - Viva Films and Star Cinema have made a successful collaboration yet again with the huge box-office earnings of Momzillas, totaling to P42.5M. Maricel Soriano and Eugene Domingo, with their combined prowess in projecting outrageous expressions and delivering punchlines, have put an added sparkle in their respective titles as Diamond Star and Rough Diamond Star. Now, Viva Video, Inc. announces the video release of Momzillas.

Directed by Wenn Deramas, the blockbuster comedy film tells the story of Clara (Maricel Soriano) and Minerva (Eugene Domingo) who hated each other the moment they found out they were in love with the same man. This happened years ago, yet when they cross paths again at present time, their anger toward each other intensifies. Clara’s daughter, Rina (Andi Eigenmann), and Minerva’s son, Elwood (Billy Crawford), announce that they are getting married and there’s nothing the feuding moms can do to stop it. Hoping that their mothers will get along, Rina and Elwood arrange a cruise for them. Unfortunately, it ends up in an accident, causing them to be stranded in a remote island. It’s a complete riot as Clara and Minerva deal with ferocious animals and struggle to set their differences aside to survive and return to their families safe and sound.

Co-stars Candy Pangilinan and Joey Paras have added humor to the comedy flick.   You can play your favorite moments from Momzillas over and over again once you own a copy of it on DVD or VCD.
