Tiendesitas attracts showbiz people, VIPs
MANILA, Philippines - Tiendesitas is a favorite shopping mall of showbiz personalities, VIPs and big names in the government, sports, business and other sectors.
Located in an 18.8-hectare mixed use commercial project bounded by Ortigas Julia Vargas and E. Rodriguez Avenues, Tiendesitas is part of Frontera Verde. Frontera Verde, which means green edge in Spanish, is an improved version of the famous Chatuchak weekend market in Bangkok.
Tiendesitas has 12 Mananao-inspired single buildings, with small-to-medium sized stalls and a central plaza for weekend bazaars and activities. Tiendesitas functions like an urban retreat, where you can walk around in wide-opened villages that are within walking distance. The imagery that welcomes customers is an upscale solemn surrounding area.
The ninth Midnight Flea Market in Tiendesitas to start on Dec. 1 and end Jan. 3 is an exhibit for Christmas shoppers and bargain hunters looking for quality gifts for their family and friends.
Henry Babiera, president and CEO of the Las Islas Trade & Consumer Show Organizer Corp., invites shoppers to visit the mall.
He says shoppers and guests can find quality products and goods sold at low prices. The trade fair is from 12 noon until 12 midnight, selling RTW, novelty items, plants and ornamentals, home furnishing, fashion accessories, Christmas decors, leather goods, Philippine arts and crafts, sporting goods and accessories.
